Up grade
will its time my bird is going in for some upgrades i was thinking of putting an 383 stroker and a hot cam how much mpg is this going to cost me

Who knows... Depends on how it's set up..
Most of the time when looking for more power mpg's are of little concern..

Best beef up the drivetrain as well, because you will start breaking things. As for mpg....why not keep the ls1, build it up, maybe even procharge it? Your mpgs will likely be better that way, than with a stroker. And you would be close in power.
