Good choice. Did you get bolt in or weld in? If weld in, are you installing them yourself?

I ordered UMI tubular bolt in sfc's for my car and after we put then on I'm going to swing by my friend shop to do a little welding just for some extra security.

can you install these without a drive-on lift? can u just drive up onto ramps and do it that way? i know the car should be sitting on the wheels when putting these on..so what would be the best way to DIY?

the car should be sitting on the wheel when you tighten/weld them. the rear needs to hang down to install them because the rear part of the SFC wraps around and bolts in at the rear lower control arms

right...so what would be the best approach to doing the project myself with my dad?

I borrowed a 4-post lift at a friend's garage to install my UMI tubular bolt-ins. I wasn't in a hurry and had it all done in less than 45 minutes. With a helper, it probably would take half that time.
If getting the car in the air with the weight on the suspension all the way around is an issue, you could probably leave the front mounting plates loose during the installation. Once the SFC's are in place, you will want to tighten the bolt through the front LCA mount to spec and then set the car on the ground.
Bounce the suspension a few times to settle the car and then torque the front mounting bolts to spec. This should allow for everything to be positioned properly before the connectors are locked into place. Definitely use some Loc-Tite on the front mounting bolts.

I set my car on a small stack of bricks, pulled up the e-brake and was good to go. Just unbolted the lca bolt and put the sfc in. Really easy install with the exception I had to work the car to make it fit one of the bolts

Welded would provide more rigidity than bolt in. The good news is that bolt in SFC's can be easily welded at a later date.
