Two WS6 Questions. Rear End Clunk & Jacking Up Front End.

#1-I seem to have a lot of play/slack in the rear pumpkin. At slow speeds when you gently go on the throttle and off, like in traffic, the rear end clunks. It's kind of puzzling because I only have 10K on the car. Trans shifts as it should. Do these cars have a history of pinion gears needing adjustments ?

#2-I am going to install my UMI Torque arm this weekend and the directions say it is best to get the vehicle on 4 jack stands. No problem with the stands, I have 4 of them but how would I go about getting the front end on them ? Can you jack up the front with a floor jack ? If so, what's the jacking point ?
My idea had been to put the front on RaceRamps and raise the rear by floor jack and put two stands under rear axle. That's actually what I have done when installing LCA's,SFC's,Panhard Rod,Front & Rear Sway Bars. I've always had the two stands on rear axle and then back on jack to tighten completely.

Thanks. Happy Thanksgiving to ALL !

the clunking could just be a bad u-joint, cheap and easy thing to fix, might eliminate your problem...

You can jack it up under the K-member. You'll either need a low profile jack or drive the car up on a few boards first.
