Trunk motors never work. Are f-body motors are under the hood.
Yes they will work. Depending on what your talking about. Give some details. I have a 2005 LQ4 6.0 trunk motor(engine) in my TA.Last edited by Hi-Po; 02-10-2009 at 01:27 PM.

don't laugh... my 1992 mark VII LSC had a trunk motor. it was used to pull the lid down so you could close the trunk gently...... Although i've never heard of an f-body with one.... maybe we're on to something here!!!!!

Don't say that I had a buick Riviera with one. Those things will take a finger or 2 off if you. I know I person who was loading there trunk and their friend started to close it and screaming followed along with a tip if a pinky finger going MIA. That's not what we need in heavy hatch cars when the struts start going out and bang, there goes a digit.

oh the latch release.... I see no reason why any 93-02 release mechanism wouldn't work. Have you checked the stickies? there are known issues with the spring on the release mechanism. You may just need to fix the one you have now.

I used to have an 87 GTA as well as an 88 GTA Notchback Edition. Both had the motor to pull the hatch down.
