    Transforming Formula to Trans Am

What all would be involved in transforming a 2001 Formula to a Trans Am clone? External Only!

I would guess that you need a new front end, side skirts, rear wing and rear bumper. Is it more complicated than that? Do you have to replace quarter panels and hood, etc?

    Doors and quarters are fine.

Everything mentioned and if you wanna do a WS6 conversion call it a WS7 and you need a hood and the taller air box.

Or you could trade your formula for a real TA?

I honestly think that the formula bumper looks much better than a trans am. A formula is a rarer car too.

I would throw a ws6 hood on it, a trans am hatch/rear bumper and call it a day. Plus you wont have to deal with the trans am driving light issues!

Definitely rarer. You've got that to consider as well like he said. Although I prefer the ws6 hood on it over the formula any day.

I have the rear hatch that I believe is in good shape, I will have to check for you they had not taken it off of my car just yet last time I was there. Thinking about going by there today.
