Trans Am and Firebirds with HUGE WINGS

So I was at work today, and the desk I work at is right beside these huge windows. Well I look outside all the time looking for cars, well I was sitting there minding my own buisness and I heard a car rev up and I turn around and what do I see. A green Firebird with a wing atleast a foot and a half tall.

I thought those cars were a myth and the videos of Camaros and Trans Am's with them were just figments of my imagination. I dont know what in the world people are thinking when they put those on their cars but I think its ugly and makes the Trans Am/Firebird owners look like a bunch of wannabe RICERS!!! That is not what I want to be considered............Please tell me im not the only one who thinks thats stupid.....

I saw this nice lowered red trans am in town.. always passed me hauling butt. I found it at the bowling alley one night so i stopped and looked. it had this giant wing and had decals and curly q looking things all over it... made it worthless to me...

Every decal adds 1.5 hp... and every 5 dollars in chrome adds you 3.4 ftlbs of torque.. i thought everyone knew that.. hell they even post that in custom truck/car shops..

actually i believe that every decal gets you 4.5hp, it did after I dynoed my ride AMAZING!!!!

It depends on mileage.... how many layers of chrome and the quality of the decal... a 2 dollar decal isnt gonna get you 4.5 hp.. only the 25 dollar type... dont forget another way to get torque is to add a good subwoofer.. and a sound system.. apparently it makes the car motivated...

i hve never seen a riced out trans am in my life ... but i have seen a bunch of ricestangs and ricemaros i was hoping no one made any rice parts for trans ams but leave it to wings west..... sone one needs to derice there trans am

you sure it was a trans am? maybe it was just a firebird.

people who use those ugly things are stupid. Even if they were going fast enough to get more downforce on the rear tires, without a front splitter the front would raise up and you would have no traction in the front. not enough to have control when turning at least.

Ahh so I understand why they do it now so you get 4.5hp for decals and the giant wing provides the necessary down force to make the extra horsepower it has from the decals not get wasted. Then they use the bass to make the car get motivated even though it knows its gonna get beat......Now this whole ricer thing is making sense..........

You guys are noobs. You forgot about the best power upgrade ever made: the fart can. Put a couple of those sticking out and tilted up on you car and a Koenigsegg wouldn't stand a chance.
