Top Gear Track...... car show!

Managed to get out and about to my first car show of the year and it was a great one!

I would reckon most of you guys would know about the "star in a reasonably priced car"!!?

Yep.... the show was held at the Top Gear track, AKA Dunsfold Park In Surrey.





It was the 40th Anniversary of a show Surrey Street Rodders put on every year called "Wheels day" as a good quality season opener. It used to be held elsewhere but it had outgrown the previous venue and as it is a charity event... ALL proceeds go to a charity of their choice every year. It was a cancer charity this year.

Nice looking weather in the pics but was deceptively cool in the wind so i have got a red neck and face now!! Nice!

It was so good to get the TA out and have a good run in it. About 60 miles each way. Drove great...

looks like they had some really cool cars out there. Great pics! Did you get to see the superbird up close...? ive always had a thing for road runners....

I did see the Superbird up close.

I would say it has seen paint in it's life but the interior looked all original and well kept!
Just a lovely car enjoying the Spring sunshine.

Also the mint green Ford Corsair, You can certainly see where the Cigar Bird influence played it's part!
