Took her to the track.....
And i need some serious retuning.Since my new tranny/new tune she hits second pretty whiplash like, haha. So everytime I hit second last night i had to let out of it,gayy. But fastest time last night was 13.5,not bad I guess.

Not a automatic guy, but don't you want the shifts stiff?

yeah but not so stiff that when it hits second you get sideways on the track, haha.

Sounds like you need more tire then.
I could be wrong. Happens a lot.

that's what i thought at first but last year when i had the first tune and a shift that didn't break your neck so much i didn't have to let out when i hit second, i i would jerk but i could handle it and keep going. now with the new tranny and it being retuned there's a big difference so that's why im thinking im needing retuned.

well a lid, tune, built tranny, auburn posi, borla exhaust and that's pretty much it. The people who had it before me sold it to a dealer and told him there was nothing done to it and he was the original owner and since he has died so we really find new stuff all the time.

Yeah im sure. It's def not the track because im the only one that does it. Have you ever heard of dtp? he runs out there and never has problems. So who knows.

sounds like you need to go and see dtp's and have him tune it. if he did the tune take it back and have him fix it. what track did you go to and how early did you run and how many runs did you make? edge water and tri-state get slick when thay open. i was as tri-state just two weeks ago and my 1st run was all kind of nuts spun all over the track.

I went to edgewater and they open at 5:30 and we didn't even get there until like 7. I made 3 runs. But im done for the year probably soo it doesn't really matter anymore.

Something is weird about that.
What was your trap speed?? Thats a good indication of how much power the car actually has, because obviously your time was limited by traction.

13.5 is stock i'd expect a little better...hard shifts are great..its how a built tranny should be..i'd suggest you get better tires or look into your suspension
