    Thinking Water Damage

It was raining extremly hard one day as i was going to work. i did what i could and took the loop but you can only take it for so long. I ended up having to go through pretty good size puddles but nothing to big.( the biggest one was probly 3/4 up on my tires).

I make it to work and everything is still running good. after work ( 6 hrs later) I on my way home and after 2 blks. it starts to bog hard in 1st gear. then 2nd and so on. the whole way home. it seemed as if the more rpms i gave it the worse it got if i kept it under 16hundred rpms it was alot better but not good.

i got home checked out the filter for water and it was dry. It had never bogged before or shown any signs of trouble till this happened. and my check eng. light didnt even come on till half way home.

my car is a 2002 trans am ... ram air. dont knwo if that would make a diff. but i was just thinking i might have sucked in water from a splash through my hood.

Scoggin dicky is taking a look at it tomorrow. if you have any input i would like to hear it... i really dont knwo what to hope for. or what it would be other than water. please let me know

Well you need to have that code checked. Autozone will do it for free and I'm sure most part joints will. I am gonna put my money on ur O2 sensors. They could have been damaged in the high water. Hope thats the prob, cause they are an easy fix.
