is there a difference between ram air ,ws6

about 3 weeks ago i bought a 1999 trans am with ram air package is there such a thing as a ram air that is not a ws6 or does mine just does'nt have the badges maybe someone put the ram air hood on it it has a after market air cleaner lid . is there a way to tell from the vin little help please it is embarassing when people ask if it is a ws6 and i tell them i don't know i think so

Look on th drives door for the RPO service codes, WS6 wil be right in there is if it is, so will the vin easy way to tell if the car has a questionable history if the vins don't match.

Other wise you may be able to get he vin decoded at the dealer.

yep rpo code is the best way to find out. it doesn't have the ws6 badge right below the passenger rear tail light?

I thought ram air was an option with or without WS6?

it has to be ws6 to be ram air even if it is a formula

the set of numbers 6 over and 4 down is ws9 can any one tell me what this means?
It also needs a clutch i want to do some mods but not over 500hp in the near furture i do not want to loose much driveability can any one tell me what clutch to go with?
