Thank god for antilock brakes

Driving along this morning, actually cruising slowly, and some stupid ass pulls right out in front of me. He never stopped, I jammed the pedal to the floor and if I hadnt had antilock brakes which allowed me to swerve around his ass end I would have t-boned his drivers door. I just barely cleared him. He is lucky, had I t-boned him he would have then been drug out his window and been beaten senseless.
