T-top flex!!!
Weve got a large set of traintracks I have to cross in town and I happen to have my window down with my hand in the crack of where the t-top locks in. I went over the track and noticed it gains a good 1/4 in gap while going over the tracks!!! It does it on both sides in the front of the gap. Jesus time for some weld in SFCS

I had my hand up there and got it pinched when I drove over some tracks. There is way more movement than I would ever thought there was. I need to SFCs too.

I put weld in sfc's and now my shits so tight that you jack up half the car when lifting it.

UMI weld ins. They will take care of all of your flex. You will also notice that the car gets alot more stable under hard accel/decel.

Whatever you get, weld in's the way to go. First mod I did was to get a set of BMR SFC's installed back in the day.

Whats the downside to the bolt in ones??
I'd rather just bolt them in then have to pay someone to weld them to the chassis.

Ive noticed after a beating I keep on getting more stress cracks on the top of the roof, and bubbles.

The bubbling, cracking is created by a defect (that's not honored by gm) and is one of my biggest beefs atm.

depends on the year if it is honored by gm or not.

99-02 only is honored. Ive got bubbles, cracks, and at least 10 dents from QP flex. Damn 98s!

I spoke with three dealers and and the service rep to one of them over the past 2 months and found there's actually several variables for them to even consider. Main focus is are you the first owner. The rep said without that they wouldn't even consider.
Second is if the car was originally bought from that specific dealer and if it has a warranty still in effect.

Subframe connectors should be one of the first mods done to these cars.
I have the 3-points, and still get a touch of flex. Noticed now that I am cutting 1.6 short times at the track, I am getting a few dimples on the rear 1/4 panels.

Had a few friends actually break their UMI tunnel braced torque arms.
Not looking forward to having that problem.
But UMI covered their parts very quickly and free of charge!
