ya know... im loving this warmer weather we are having here in louisiana, but, i hope all pollen dies a slow and painful death! i cannot keep my car clean.. especially with like 57 pines trees outside my house! this sucks.. my car is white, not white with yellow crap everywhere like the color changing hot wheels cars that changed when you put them in hot or cold water.. so mad right now!

You can always get a car cover but I think that would be a pain in the ass to put on and take off every time you want to drive the car.

So just put-up with the shit. It won't last forever.

This is what I do everytime I take the car out, during the summer. Black gets dusty from a drive to the end of my street.

a few hours after i wash my car it will be back to where it was before i washed it.. We get pollon and tree sap down here.. Its sticky.

Is there a certain cover you get to put on your car? I was told to never use a cover cause dust get trapped in there and when the wind blows it scratches your paint.

i washed mine the other day....it got covered in pollen immediately....so i washed it againa and put it strait in the garage.....now its not really an issue...pollen aint bad lately

dont do the car cover if your car sits outside. the wind will cause the cover to scratch the paint. my only suggestion would be to get a duster. if you dust it off lightly you shouldn't have any issues. thats typically what I do for my V when the pollen gets bad.

When I have my car out of storage, it sits outside under the cover, has been for 5 years now going on 6 this summer. NO scratches, but I also make sure the car is clean (even dusted) before I cover it back up. I also us addition tie downs, and have a cover a size larger than recommended and it stays wrapped up tight, nothing makes it up there but fine dust particles, which do not get rubbed into the clear coat b/c my cover doesn't move an inch.

Btween all of my cars being black, and my f'n allergies, I hate spring. I can't breathe, my cars are green, and every moron with a chainsaw is out making noise sun up to sun down. When does fall start?
