    subframe connectors

what purpose do they serve? I see all over that people install them, is it a handling issue? where do they go on a t/a? I dont know if my car has them or not, and have no clue where to look for them.

sfc's support the chassis from unwanted twisting, they are a great thing to have for our type fbodies.

There are generaly 2 types, double diamond ( check here http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku ) and weld in or bolt in type (two types here square tubing or round stock as shown in pic on previous post).

double diamonds tend to add more bracing with the floorpan by squaring the entire bottom instead of the framerails. Definately stiffer compared to the frame mount SFC's. SFC's also helps reduce or prevent quarterpanel flexing which is a big issue with f-bodies. Personally I've seen it on a 97 z28 and it ain't that pretty.

If you don't have them I would definitely invest in a set. Either way you can't go wrong, whether you get the framerail type or the double diamond type they are a great investment IMO.
