If you know what you are doing, any car is capable of being stolen fairly easily. I only have the factory alarm in mine, and it's never been stolen.

as simple as hooking up a tow truck. A competent crew can have on on a flat bed wrecker in as little as 2-3 mins and get it a mile down the road to a area that they can strap down in safety.
Factory alarm is almost a cruel joke now a days.

Use common sense when you take it out. Park it in public areas with a good amount of traffic, lock it up good, and if something doesn't feel right, don't leave the car there.

Not to many car theifs out there have a wrecker. Unless they really want your car and they know you disabled the car.

Locks are for honest people.
If a thief wants it they'll get it.
If one could back right in one could have the car gone in seconds with a roll back flat bed.
One would also arrive with slack already in the cable, back in, hook up, drag it up, cut the battery hot cable to shut off the alarm and drive away.

Pretty much what others have said.
Sadly, I knew of a car thief and pretty well actually. He stole all kinds of cars, including Corvettes. Mostly the same type of car always as there was a high demand for those particular car parts when he dropped them off to the chop shops. I never partook in any of the shenanigan's (I was young and the guy I knew was older), but someone else I knew did once. He said he dropped him off by the car, parked, then pushed in the cigarette lighter in the car and lit his cigarette. He looked up and the guy was driving off in the car.
If someone wants your car, they'll get it somehow, someway.
If we're talking about your typical burglar/thief or teenage kids than usually an alarm, parking in a garage, or well light area deters them though. Most thieves look for the easy targets.

one thing for sure get pics of the car on CL and other social sites. Broadcast it far and wide. Even with car clubs. True gear heads hate thieves and if they know one is stolen they usually let the person know or report it. At least that is the way I know of with the ppl I hang with.
I was at a car show and this one guy was passing out flyers of his Mustang that was stolen a couple days earlier. One of the show's attendees saw it and called the guy and the police. It got recovered. Lucky for him it was 2 teens joyriding and not headed to a chop shop.
Good Luck

i asked my self the same question, how easy could it be to steal this cars, like this guys said, if they want it they'll get it!
sometimes i couldnt sleep when i seen suspicious guys at night next to my car, never happened anything to my car, but one thing i did few days ago, what i did was get a full coverage insurance, that way you have a peace of mind man, you get something back at least!
good luck! hopefully you get it back in one piece...
