I need to buy a new antenna, not the motor, just what seems to be called the mast. Is AC Delco part number 10256439 a match for the original? The car is a TA from 1999, by the way.

Try to make confirm the part with GMPARTSDIRECT

That's the part number on GMPARTSDIRECT. A Google search on it led to the AC Delco ID. I'm not sure if that means that the AC Delco mast is identical to what is presumably stock on GMPARTSDIRECT. Ordering from the latter is a pain.

AC Delco is GM's parts. They're a subsidiary of GM. Just like Mopar is with Dodge

yeah the parts sheet I've got has that same 10256439 for the replacement mast.
