Anyone know where it is? Is there a fuse? Thanks in advance.

no fuse specifically for the speedo. You might have a problem with the vehicle speed sensor or its wiring. Any recent work done that might have affected that stuff??

The vehicle speed is located in the tailshaft housing on the transmission.

Most likely a wheel speed sensor from the driver's side rear. Same deal happened to my BMW a couple months ago. Does the speedometer just not work completely or does it randomly do that at times?

Check the sensors.

Except F-bodies do not have speed sensors in the wheels, and the ABS sensors that are there have nothing to do with the speedo..
OP....
Do as Cutlass suggests and check the actual speed sensor in the tail shaft housing of your trany.. good luck

No, they are hall sensors they detect lockup through gaps in the reluctor rings....

There is a wheel speed sensor mounted to the backside of the backing place that reads the rotation of the reluctor ring that is pressed onto the end of the axle. This signal is then fed to the computer. At least this is how it works on 4 channel vehicles.
3 channel rear ends the sensor is on the pumpkin.
This has nothing to do with the speedometer though, as mentioned.
