'98-'99's have different radiators than the '00-'02's...and its says 93-02, so thats just wrong, a radiator for '93-'97 is different too...i think you got the wrong one...or you may just need to plug the hole, we need an expert opinion! if it still fits inside the engine compartment, then i would just plug the hole, but thats just my 2 cents

if you go on ws6 store, i know they have 2 different radiators for 98-99's and 00-02's and there's a different one for manual tranny's too

I don't know if I would trust any kind of plug. I'd send it back or sell it of I could.

It might a LT1 radiator, I've heard something about plugging some hole for the LT1 radiators when you put them in a LS1 vehicle. Is the radiator a bit fatter than the old one? You will be fine with just plugging the hole. Just make sure you do a good plug and not a weak one as it will pop out and spill everything out.

On my m6 Z I replaced the radiator. That same hole came with it. Man. That thing gave me problems.
I put a rubber seal on it with a clamp. 3 times the rubber piece blew up.
I was told by the person that all the radiators for that car will come like that because is aftermaket/universal. It don't matter if it'd for an auto or stick it will have that.
So when u get to replace another one again. I'll go for factory one. Moreover but lessproblms

I came up with a better fix after that.
I could tell u what I did if u need more info
