Silver+Black/Black+Silver- 1999 TA M6/03 GSXR 600
So it begins...
Here's my plan for my M6 T/A as far as mods over the next month or two :
UMI SFC's (Just ordered)
R/A Hood from Glasstek
MTI lid with FTRA set up
QTP LT's with 2.5" dual X and magnaflow mufflers
Then after that, I need to fix the wheelhop I am getting right now because I can only imagine it will get worse with more power.. so maybe..
Koni SA front shocks?
Bilstien HD rear shocks?
Moser 9"?
Any other supporting mods I should look into before adding more power? By supporting I mean suspension, drivetrain, and chassis upgrades. The car is my daily driver so I need it to be reliable, and it might see some strip time but not a lot.
What do you guys think?? Obviously there's a lot more to do but I'm just trying to make a good starting point.

sounds like a good plan man . . . keep us updated. I'm planning on the same mods within the next few months too . . . maybe not the same brands . . but the basic setup.

nope, what's the diff between stock and the one you're talking about?

when you do the rear I would do a torque arm, LCA's, and relocation brackets at the same time. That's all stuff that will be out of there anyhow, might as well change it. I also pulled my tank and did a racetronix kit at the same time. Just trying to minimize work.

an adjustable T/A lets you set your pinion angle. Mines currently at -1 but I'm gonna move it to -2 before next spring. Just helps with traction.

pinion angle? does it set it on it's own or is it something you have to do? i've heard of it just never knew what it was.. sorry for all the questions

you use an angle finder and the torque arm has an adjuster on the bottom of it. You measure the angle of the driveshaft versus the angle of the differential. I just did a quick search to see if I could find a better explanation. I saw a nice graphical explanation that has it make way more sense but this one isn't to bad.
pinion angle
