the LM1 is the loudest of the 2.the resonater is basically a high flow muffler, since SLP is bolt on just swap out your LM2 resonater only ,& put in a LM1 resonater.

I have the LM1 also, but I got it second hand and it was welded as one piece, but for a $200, can't complain. VERY audible. I have also noticed a HUGE difference in sound when I have mine diablo-tuned. It sounds like a real beast then. I like them, but I want to go true dual for more performance.

actually, mine is also welded. So unless you want to keep cutting them off and re-welding, you should just leave it. You can get it from slp as a modular unit. I'm going to wait a bit and get true duals made somewhere.

I have the Loud Mouth II, and i like it has a good rumble going down the road, and sounds good standing on it, or going down the track! Some days i wish i had the LM1 resonator but thats just asking for trouble

throw on some LT's and you can hear the differance. If its still not loud enough then swap out the muffler with the resonator. If its still not loud enough run open headers!
