Size and weight of a PCM??
Hey Guys,
I have two choices when it comes to my re-tune with Frost.
First one is to buy a refurb PCM and have it sent over ready to go.
Second is send mine to Steve with a speedy courier to save buying another.
If i send mine i need the dimensions and weight of a PCM!!
I don't really want to take mine out of the car as i am sure one of you guys
must have one on the bench and are able to run a rule over it and stick it
on the kitchen scales!!??
Once i know these specs i can start to get prices for the shipping.
Thanks in advance
Trev

Mine is actually out of the car and I can weigh and measure it when I get home from work tonight. I do know that it fits in the USPS medium flat rate box just fine.

Hey Will,
I really appreciate the info but once armed with this info and typing that into various
courier sites the costs vary from a bit daft to taking the p*ss!
It will be easier to order a refurbed PCM with my tune installed and probably close to
a price if i sent mine over.
The huge upside of this is i can order from Frost even before i get my headers and stuff sent over
so i can plug in the Frost tune directly the install is done!! Will call him tomorrow.

I did that same thing when I did my first round of mods. Bought a refurbed PCM and had him load the tune to it so that it was just a simple swap not taking long and it lets me keep my original as a spare in case anything happens. No actual car down time.
