Service Engine Soon
My Service Engine Soon light comes on than after awhile it goes out, I had it checked out by a local garage and he said it was the Mass Air Flow Sencor doing it and if it buges me to much all I would have to do is to take the air intake tube behind the air lid apart and wipe the sencor with a mild cleanser.
What does every body think I should do?

Use some maf cleaner. Be careful, let it dry and do not touch the wire. I would take it off and then spray clean and let it dry.
Do you use a K&N air filter? The oil can cause issues with the maf if they are too oily.

MAF's still get dirty with paper filters too.
I don't worry about it because I'm SD tune and no longer have a MAF.
