Spiral Gray - Torch Red- 2004 Corvette Conv
Seat question
I'm in the market to buy a TA, and found one I liked, but I've never seen the seats like this. I've owned 3 TA's and never had the seats like this.
I was wondering if anyone has them in their TA? They appear to be close to the normal seats I've seen, but they don't have the 'slats' on the sides of the back and the controls are different.
The top pic includes the seats in question.
The bottom pics shows seats that I've always seen. Both are 2001 TA's in the pics.
Thanks in advance!

they are basic leather seats they dont have power options for the lumbar . The slats that you talk about open and close to give you stability when you drive through corners.

Thanks for the reply.
Actually, if you look at the 'sides' of the lumbar, you will see the decorative slats or ridges. On the top picture, you do not see these on the sides of the lumbar. It's just plain vinyl or leather.
I believe the seats do have the power as it has both buttons on the sides of the seat, they just don't look the same as on most other TA seats.

Mystic Teal/Chameleon grn- 1998 TA
I have a 1998 TA and it has the seats pictured in the top photo. I thought the 00-02's had the bottom seats, or maybe ws6's....idk. Maybe the previous owner swapped the seats out because they got worn down or something like that..?

You might be right. I found another 98 that had the same seats.
Thanks!

Bright Purple Metallic- 1998 Trans Am
seats
I also have the bottom seats in my 98 and due to the color they quit making them early in the model year, so its not a time thing.

I had the bottom ones in my 93 TA:
And swapped them out for some better condition 99 seats that as you see, still have the slats:

I have the second set of seats in my early 98.
All depends on what you ordered the car like from the dealer
RPO codes etc

Reclining bucket seats with perforated leather O O O

These were the options/features for the 2001 TA
