rust
has anyone noticed that rust starts to acumulate on the rear floor pan
where the traling arm bolts in to further up whare the metal meets the
floor pan. is this common and is there a way to fix it. or should i leave
it allone. This is not my car. my car has rusted a little in the same spot.
I had grinded one side and just sprayed rust paint on it. a couple of coats.
i did not primer it. but i got rid of the rust on that side. The other side still
has a little bit of rust on it. should i leave it or repair it too. Is it a good idea
to be gindin it. or should i leave it allone. since i have rusproofed the
car. I spray these spot very of with rust check oil. will the oil spay
stop it. am i okay if i just keep sprayng it with oil often or should i remove
the rust on the other side too. I also oil sprayed the car from the inside too.
here is a picture of the area i am talking about. 2 pices of meatal meet there.

If it is what I think there really isnt a good easy fix. What I would do is get some "rust paint" and dont grind the area just knock the lose stuff off and clean/dry then paint.
