    rotors

I am replacing the rotors and pads on my ws6. I want to get drilled and slotted with a good set of pads. My question is that I heard that you should only get drilled or slotted, not both. This is supposedly because having both creates less surface area on the rotor and will not stop as well, and also that the rotors tend to warp easily. Is this true? What brand rotors are good and also what brand pads are good.
