The RIGHT price?
I'm a brand new member, and I've already learned a great deal from the threads I have reviewed and responses I have received to my inquiries - Thank YOU!
I hope I can count on your feedback and opinions - I am considering your membership to be the experts! I am learning that members place a high value on these specialty cars - now how do I convert that information into the right price? My car is a 2002 Ws6 Ram Air. I am considering the KBB info and disregarding what I paid for this car last year. I think $16,000 seems right, right in the middle of KBB values, but I would like to ask for your feedback. Here's my car (and it is in beautiful condition) and here's what KBB says about the value, based on the data I provided:
I pulled up all 3 values - data copied directly into the post.
BLUEBOOK SUGGESTED RETAIL Value: $18,975
Suggested Retail Value Assumes Excellent Condition...
BLUEBOOK PRIVATE PARTY Value:
Excellent $16,650
Good $15,655
Fair $14,345
BLUEBOOK TRADE IN Value:
Excellent $14,425
Good $13,545
Fair $11,990
This is the data I included to get these values:
Vehicle Highlights
Mileage: 63,800
Engine: V8 5.7 Liter
Transmission: 6 Speed Manual
Drivetrain: RWD
Selected Equipment
Standard
Air Conditioning Cruise Control ABS (4-Wheel)
Power Steering AM/FM Stereo Leather
Power Windows Single Compact Disc Rear Spoiler
Power Door Locks Premium Sound
Tilt Wheel Dual Front Air Bags
Optional
Ram Air Handling Pkg T-Bar Roof
Dual Power Seats Premium Wheels
The car was babied by its original owner, a 35 year old woman, and was treasured by its second owner, my 20 year old son. He drove it from May 2006, when I bought it, until August 2006, and it has been under its cover since then. I have driven it a few times, but it is a little too much for me. Last fall, the driver's side window was sticking, so I had the motor replaced. Other than that, it is in perfect condition.
Please feel free to share your opinions with me - I'll appreciate anything that helps me find the right buyer.
Thanks!

it might be easier to look up on autotrader.com and see how they explain their cars.. i think the list you have is good .. if they have any additional questions that you didn't go over they can always call you and ask you..
ps: i'm lookin for a T/A right now and if i had 16k i would buy yours

This is going well and I appreciate the responses to my different questions. I have a couple of options now - I have been offered $14,800, but there I live near Carlisle, PA, and they have a Fall Collector Car show and sale there in 2 weeks. I'm thinking of waiting until then, and seeing if I might find a buyer with an offer closer to my asking price of $16,000.
Any feedback or opinions about the prospects of selling this car at a show like that? They have about 1,500 cars for sale in the "corral" plus another 200 at auction, with around 100,000 people attending over 4 days.
I appreciate your ideas!

NO LESS THAN 16! That car looks to be in great shape! Good panel fit and paint seems to be in good condition. I'd buy it from you too if I have 16K.
