    2002 Trans Am M6

    Replacing Rear Mirror Lights

    One of my rear view mirror lights burned out and i wanna replace it, but i can't find my manual, and i've never done it before. Can someone help me figure it out?

    Pry out the lenses and they pop right out.

    use a hammer, only works with a ball peen hammer

    well i dont got a ball peen hammer but i was wondering if there was any easy way to take them out, i know you said they pop out but they aren't budgin. my fat fingers won't grip and i know theres gotta be an easier way

    shut the door, let the lights go off and cool. take a small screwdriver and pry the metal tabs.

    thanks, having one light outs annoyin the crap outta me. and it doesnt help the space is about an inch big

    Awesome! Never thought of that? Before I tear it apart and break it, do you know what bulb it takes? Is it the same as the T/A door panel lights, cause I got the L.E.D.s for them?

    LEDs for sure. The autozone red bulbs fade especially if your a DD and work/drive mostly at night, plus they melted my lense and cracked the mirror when I did a speaker change one day.

    i think im gonna go with the red led replacement when i get around to it, if i do that would i hafta do the map lites in red 2?
