Removing fog lights
Hey i need some help. I need to remove my fog lamps and my daytime running lamps cause they're badly oxidated and i was wondering what would be the easiest way? I have the haynes manual but doesn't say and i'd rather not remove the bumper but is this the only way? Thanks for any help guys

drls will be descently easy from the bottom
fog lights are gonna be a pain in the ass. . .taking consideration you have to change the bulbs from above (hood up you can reach, somewhat into the bumper) you prob have to remove them from above, if not id say the bumpers gotta come off2000 TA, A4, LS6 intake, Magnaflow, WS9 hood, BMR STB, UMI boxed SFC, Spohn LCA, 9" Ford

i know . . . what i meant in the last post is that comin from above is the only way to change the bulbs so in turn i would think, if its possible to pull the whole fog housing without removin the bumper, you would have prob need to do it from above . . .but again im not for sure. ive not removed the fog housing in a ta just my 98 bird, which are very easy to access!

On the 94 it was easy, they come out from the bottom with little fuss. But on the newer style fascica, they are a bit harder to get out. I took them out the bottom on my 02 last week, brackets and all, but it was a bit of a squeeze to get them out the back due to limited clearance.
To take them out the bottom, you remove the three plastic retainer rivets on the bottom of the slanted rubber piece that covers the bumper bottom and pull the flap down out of your way and work through the opening. Take off the two bolts that hold on the bracket and pull them out the back side. You will have to push forward on the bumper some to get them to clear and drop out.
If all you want to do is change bulbs, you might be able to do that without removing the lamps if you can get your hand in from behind. Twist the connector about 1/4 turn and pull and it will come out. Getting them back in will be the challenge as the connector only lines up in one specific position and it may be hard to do by feel.

when i changed my fog light housing, i just pulled the bumper towards the front of the car, and then inched the light out little by little.

I have to remove the fog lights and the turn signals and i'm having problems with the fogs. I've almost got it but there are 3 plastic retainers on the bumper that are circular with no screw heads or anything and theres no indication how to remove them. Anyone done it that can help me figure out how to remove them? I don't wanna break anything and i wanna know for sure before i try

You pull down on the center head of the rivet. I used a wire cutting dyke to grasp it (don't squeeze so hard you cut it) and then just pulled down HARD.
