Remote programming?
My keyless remote neeeds to be replaced. I see them for sale new on Ebay for $39.99. Is that a fair price and how difficult are they to program to my 01 Formula?

Black w/ red race stripes- 2001 Trans AM WS6
It's ridiculously easy lol. I found one new on ebay from a company for $29 I believe. The programming instructions that they say are "included" are actually in the Firebird manual. From what I remember you have to take out the radio fuse, turn key to on (not turn over engine) wait until you hear the door lock and unlock, hold down the button on remote until you hear the door lock and unlock and then turn key off, put fuse back in and youre done.

Instructions are in your owners manual. I'll get mine and copy it if you need me to.

Thanks guys I do have my owners manual I will look at it for their instructions. Also the vender says he will include instructions with the remote. I have one old one that is still barely operational but I dont want to have it die and be S___out of luck. I did find one on Ebay cheaper but there was no warranty with it.

If it is barely working, have you tried a new battery?
