rear end gear??

I have a 99 automatic ta. What gear do i have in the rear end. I have suspicion to believe that it is a fairly low gear.. Any ideas ???

2.73 or 3.23

Check for the RPO code on the driver door. GU2 = 2.73 and GU5 for 3.23

sounds good ill take a look thanks! on an automatic if i am to put a higher gear in isnt there alot of tuning to do to get my car to shift properly?

Nope. Leave it in D and it will do the work for you. That what the computer is there for.

sweet sounds good!! do you feel that this is a must to go up with a gear? is the 273 junk? I have a intake exhaust and about to have a tune...

Isnt junk but it will definately slow you down... Go 3.73 if your going to upgrade. DO IT BEFORE THE TUNE!
