    rear end

by next year i will be having these mods on my car.
LT headers- dont know what brand yet
    y pipe
    corsa catback (already have)
    volant intake (getting soon)
    ls6 intake manifold
    dyno tune.

would i have to build up my rear end for that? because i have been told by some people that i will break my rear end. what are your opinouns this? And also, how much will i be pushing with those mods.

Are you an a4 or m6? That makes a big difference. With just those mods alone, you will be fine.

Now, if you go and put slicks on the car.... and launch that fucker, you will more than likely break your rear end. Its all about your hook up really. If your ass end doesn't hook up, you wont break the 10 bolt.

I know people that have broke their rears when the Trans Am was completely stock...not even a lid upgrade.....it's never a bad idea to get a better rear end or build up the rear just in case...

You're not going to be hitting 400rwhp with a cam unless you have headers/exhaust first. With the mods you're doing you should be fine with street tires. And as far as the hp numbers, i would think closer to the 345-350 range, but always think conservatively so you don't disappoint yourself. Having all the power in the world doesn't mean you'll have the fastest times.
