Rate the Handling of 4th Gen and Older Models

I used to think it's poor by sports car standards, but I read a review from the 70's that was positive and now I think it might be very dependent on road conditions and maneuvers.

That's almost how I think of it. Maybe gentle curves it does well. I very much like driving mine on spacious, high-speed, unchallenging roads. 4th-gen cars I've driven have given me scary moments on sharp, quick turns. Too heavy for that, like driving a shopping cart.

Mine must be handling much different because of all the suspension upgrades. It handles like it's on rails.

I've never driven a WS6 nor upgraded a suspension. I tend to let cars go overdue for suspension work. Since I don't race, it never feels like a priority.
