Ram Air Hood questions
Hey all, just wanted to ask a few questions 'bout the hood. I found a place that sells them online called "ramairhood.com". I think their a little pricy but i think its worth it cause its made from OEM materials for a perfect fit and color. They have a kit thats just over 1k for the functional hood, painted with the decals and grills, and the air box. I think its good cause they make'em from OEM materials which is a platic and it already comes paited, so i wouldnt have to worry about matching the color, and i wouldnt have the problems of fiberglass which might not fit right. I wanted to know if you guys with ws6's can tell me if your factory hoods are made out of plastic. Not ever seeing one up close and in person, i dont know what the ws6 hoods are made of. Thanks in advance!

From the factory?

Fiberglass from the factory. Just to warn you though, some ramair hoods are too weak to use the stock hood shocks and require the old stick in the hood method. Suncoast makes hoods that are pretty strong. Do your research and spend the extra money on a good hood

Another place to check for hoods is ebay. They sell them a lot on there the only problem is you have to find one in your color but many of them are original WS6 hoods so you know they will bolt right up without any problems!
heres links to some on ebay now:

I didnt see any on there by personal owners selling them but just check once in a while and you'll find them.
