question for trans am guys

I am looking at a 1999 Trans am and the owner claims it is a G2 Gigliotti edition. I have never heard of this, and can't find any information on it. The car has stickers on the front fenders that say G2, but I realize that those could have been put on by someone. Any info on this car would be greatly appreciated.

not a special edition or anything, just stickers and possibly parts from LG motorsports. Lou Gigliotti is a big F body guy who designed a nice line of suspension and cams for our cars. I think we still have them on our sponsor list. Also check out projecttransam.com, there's a lot of G2 parts on the Black WS6 that it features with the G2 stickers and all

You may also just try getting in touch with LG Motorsports and see if they have any knowledge of doing a G2 special edition. Like Red said it may just be someone put a bunch of G2 parts but it is not a "True" special edition.

He's just saying that as a sales pitch as if it was some kind of rare edition but in reality its just a T/A with stickers and parts. He might as well have put on ram air , done suspention work and called it a WS6. Its still a good car, but I don't think for a second that it is some kind of rare editon.
