what is the weight of an f-body i have an 01 trans am ws6. ive been told that camaros are lighter than T/A's i dont know but a buddy of mine said that on the inside of the door is the weight of the car but it says the car weight is like 4200 but i looked it up on the internet and it said its curb weight was like 3600 so i dont know. does any one know the stock vehicle weight?

The weight on the door is the GVWR. Gross Vehicle Weight Rating. Not what the car weighs, but fully loaded with passengers and luggage. And trailer tongue weight ( I actually did pull a 1600 pound pop-up with my '98!). Actual weight varies by options on car, from 3450-3600.

Mine weighed in at 3600lbs even w/1/4 tank of gas.
verts do weigh abit more as well.

I took mine to a local gas station/truck stop. They have a scale. Cost me seven bucks. But I know exactly what it weighs. 3560 without me. That's full weight with SFC's and a STB.

mine weighed in at 3650 with me being 185 in the car. and i dont believe the camaro is lighter..

Mine was 3450 with me in the car and 1/4 tank of gas...So right around 3400-3700 for sure
