    problems with the T/A

Well i just installed a BBK SSI intake and a professonal products 85mm throttle body. And the problem is when press on the gas pedal half way it works perfect but at full throttle it down shifts and goes like its suppose to but for about 5 seconds and then it just punks out on me, droping the rpms at 3k and slow down like if i were at idle. and thats not the only part after testing and tweeking with it I take off just fine 1st and 2nd gear are great but once i'm on 3rd it stops acclerating and I put more gas in and the only thing that moves is the rpms and redlines without moving the car like if it were in nutral, and the next problem is the engine gets really hot. can any body help me also i have a A4 and dont have a tune and was throwing these codes,p0123, p0153, p0405, p0412, p0418..

    First problem is that intake.

I am assuming a minor vacuum leak though as well. Un-metered air coming in.
The P0153 is a lazy O2 sensor I believe. That shouldn't have anything to do with the intake install. Mileage on car?

I am also guessing you removed EGR and AIR with the intake install??? Most of those codes were set off on my car when I removed those items as well.

The EGR and AIR codes are from the removal of those components.

When it comes to the TPS sensor, verify that nothing is in the way of the throttle cable at the TB. I had that issue...I would press the gas pedal down 100%, but would only see 60% at the sensor because the clamp screw was in the way of the cable.

can that tsp sensor be the problem to this and how much do they cost?

Not sure what they cost. Haven't had to replace one.

Did you have to use the stock TPS from the factory TB on the BBK? Or did the BBK come with a new one?

    Try resetting the codes.
But before starting the car....pull the TPS and re-install it. Just in case it didn't seat right for some reason.
Any chance it somehow got damaged between the TB's?

I am not up on exactly how the automatic reads all the other codes, but I am pretty sure the computer uses the TPS to aid in determining shift points.
    Someone will hopefully verify.

I know on a Mustang I had a problem and it did screw with the shifting and way it ran. As far as my car when I installed the ported TB I bought one one ebay that was brand new and came with all new sensors so I had no issues but if it did break if will cause issues. I 'm guess there probably between 40 and 60 but not really sure just going by what I guessing it would be by other parts like that I have bought at dealers.

well I bought the new a new sensor but didn't help much and I found out that I dont have much transmission fluids. should this be the cause for my shifting problem?

Yes running on low tranny fluid is going to make the car shift bad and could destroy the tranny depending on how low and for how long. Kinda like running your motor without enough oil.
