Power window (driverside)2001
My driver side window goes up n down slowly.
Has any one had this problem before and what can I do to fix it?
Or what could the problem be?
Also today it would not go down, and Itryied it later and it worked but slower than the pansenger side.

My driver side window did the same thing until eventually it would only go half way up or halfway down and stop. Eventually it got to the point where they would only go up or down an inch at a time. I was at the point where I had one hand manually pulling the window up while pushing the button. I ended up getting a new window motor in my driver side. My passenger side hasn't gone out on me yet.

They aren't hard to change, and there is a nice walk through somewhere on the web.
Does Advance Auto Parts still offer the life time warranty on window motors?

Sounds like all the driver windows have that same glitch!

for me it was my passenger side window. It was really slow and sometimes would get stuck. Replaced the window motor and it worked great for a while, but when its really cold out it goes up and down very slowly but goes a little faster when it warms up.

I didn't have time to do mine so I took my car to the dealership. They said I had a bad regulator. But eventually they found out that the motor was bad. So if you are doing it yourself, you might just need to replace the regulator. I ended up paying over $500 (again this was at a dealership so this would probably be the highest you will have to pay) to get it done. If you have time you might want to fix it yourself.
