Went in '06 a few tips for newbs...
1. have a cooler and chairs... I know right, but i forgot them and it sucked till i made a wally world run.
2. have 2 drivers... driving that long just tires you out (along with the heat and such) trade off driving so you can enjoy more instead of being so tired
3. Head out with the group the first day (get there early though so you can be in the first 1/4th of cars)
4. Dump the group after that... If you want a pic go get one and then leave...
5. Eat at local joints... You can get burger king anywhere... Eat at Joe's or Sandy's or what ever the locals recommend...
6. Book hotels early and keep all conformatin information (we got hosed by the travel agency Hot Rod Magazine recommended)
7. Sun screen... Its hot out there... and i know... but its just another thing you dont think about...
8. Take it all in... there is nothing like 3,000 gas guzzling 2 ton machines rolling down the road... Absolutely nothing...

p.s. the lil lunches they have along the way are pretty good so use them to your finacial advantage...Last edited by predator; 01-20-2009 at 05:19 PM.

Never heard of it before but, I thought it might be an F-body cruise. Is there anything like a cruise for the T/A Nats?
