    power steering pulley

    I just want to know what kind of power steering pulley puller is best for a pontiac trans am. I tried buying one from harbor freight and it was not a good fit. Anyone have any recommendations it would be greatly appreciated.

    Matco is about the best one to get.

    Look up TurnOne Power Steering Pulley. Their design lets you take the pump off without removing the pulley. Best damn $$ spent. A lot of time you kill the pump because you strip the threads.

    If this is something you need today, Autozone rents them. Just make sure the bolt threads are good. Too many A-holes screw them up and return them.

    Snap-On, Mac, Matco, even Craftsman has a kit even though they do not manufacture it. pulley removal should not be a big problem just take care in reinstalling it on the new pump, it has to go on straight.
    My ride is a 2002 Camaro SS SLP #3296 with 30k, LTH, 3" Y, CME, Frost tune, K&N, ported TB, Blackwing lid, Bellows, MSD, Denso Iridium, and 85mm MAF, Bilsteins, Eibach springs, SLP strut brace, Adj. Panhard, TA Girdle, UMI, Pro 5.0, Nitto NT555
