Almost all catbacks (if that is what you mean by exhaust) are good for about 8-10 h.p. The difference between the systems is really nominal.

From what I hear, SLP flows the best with magnaflow a close if not identical second. Granted like he said, it's not THAT much fo a difference. Also, SLP tends to be annoying when you throw LT's on and what not, I mean you can make it work but, requires more tweaking. Personally I'm throwing magnaflow on there, should be here Wednesday.

I'm sure Borla/corsa and what not are all up there too, I'd hope so for the money. I think it's more of a, "Do you want a loud or refined note"

Avoid Flowmaster(restrictive), and pick the tone you like best. The flow/power difference between catbacks isn't enough to amount to anything significant. Same with lids.

magnaflow sound the best IMO want actual difference in power step up too a true dual set up and larger piping. (you will have slight loss in torque but more top end power.)

I would say with stock manifolds and cats a SLp Lm1 or Lm2 have a straight though design so they should flow the best and sound good with the rest of the exhaust stock but most are only a few HP difference either way.
