Poss buying 2000 TA (issues I should look for?

Looking at a 2000 ta (with a ram air hood) unsure yet if it has the ws6 options or just has the different hood on it. leather t-tops. There was a couple spots on it where the paint was messed up.

Car has 65,000 on it and he only wants $10,500 obo
which seems like a steal especially since I see how much these cars go for.

I diden't have alot of time to look at the car. I was mainly suprised that I found one so close and so cheap.

things I noticed was the car was dirty as hell. A good coat of just grime on it. Rims dirty and the inside not even vacumed out. The guy lives on a farm so maybe it's a counrty boy thing.

He said the only issue was the 02 was throwing a code. which with only 65,000 makes me wonder. This guys says he don't drive it much so he is just getting rid of it.

Any help or issues I should be looking for would be greatly appreciated.

I have a 99 Trans Am Firehawk that sounds a lot cleaner with only one lil exterior defect...same miles but 13k. It depends what the code is...my SES code is just an emissions code because I changed the exhaust, which means it doesn't affect the mechanical condition whatsoever. If ur interested give me a holler. Common problems in TAs are window motors, cracked door panels. I haven't had the window motor problem but they are common.

ws6 rpo on driver door decal????

No i diden't see any ws6 emblems, but it has the nostril nose hood. I diden't think that the non ws6 trans am's came with the nostril nose (ram air hood)

WS6 will have the ram air box, emblem on bumper, 17" wheels and the code on the inside of the drivers door jam and different exhaust tips, that is if the exhaust is stock. If it is a WS6 it may be OK at that price, if it is not a WS6 that is to much.
