    Original Exhaust

Can any of you guys tell if this is an original exhaust set up (just the back pipes - obviously not underneath the car) just by looking at this photo?

I'm interested in what the rear of a factory original WS-6 car would look like - in terms of rear exhaust pipes.

Was there two outlets on each side or just one??

    Thanks!!

My current WS6 had Borlas on it when i got it,and my 99 WS6 had aftermarket exhaust too,but I have seen a lot of WS6s with those so they appear to be stock, most T/As you find nowadays have aftermarket setups you'll be lucky to find some with stock exhaust

Seems like that gap in the read bumper is just begging for dual pipes. Lots of space in that cut out for just that one single pipe...

I thought the very same thing when we first looked at our car back in 2008 before buying it.

I think Pontiac thought ahead and put the double wide opening in the rear bumper cover for future upgrades.

    sold: 1999 firebird
    1998 Trans Am

Unless it's a 1998, then it likely is stock ('98 WS6s only had one pipe). The tips appear to be factory.

Again, I wouldn't worry about originality in something as simple as exhaust.
