Black(soon to be car)- WS6(soon to be)
Which one????!!!
Hi there everyone, new here. Ive narrowed my searches down to two cars,
1. A 2000 WS6 6 speed with 75k miles for $13,900
2. A 2002 WS6 6 speed with 95k miles for $12,900
Both are from used car dealers (could not find any in black around my area, ive ben searching forever. I dont mind really.) so the prices are probably a bit up. Which is the better choice? Im thinking the 2000 with 75k on it. Also what should I be paying for either of these? Thanks a lot.

Silver- 1996 Camaro 3.8L
That's a tough one. 20k less, but two years older and a grand more...From what I've seen personally in my searches, those are decent prices.
All I can say is that GM has always done well at making the best possible car in it's last year of production. They get it right and then promptly cancel it. (Oldsmobile products anyone?) I'd lean towards the 2002, plus it's cheaper. Take good care of it and the TLC will offset the extra mileage. At least that's what I keep telling myself...

I would go for the one with the less mileage, price difference isn't much and you going to get the same performance from each one. LS1 6 speed can't go wrong.

The 2000 has a much cleaner interior, whereas the 2002 has cracks in the leather and normal wear, but the 02's interior is really mint. Hard to believe.
I did notice something in the pics though; the 2000 also has an SLP lid with a K&N sticker on it. That could be good, as im on a tight budget for performance parts, but it might, and most likely does, mean bad news...

Update...
A sign from above? I was cruising around craigs list for a WS6 and found one.

Is it just me or does the interior look faded? Is that black or grey?

2000 Silver WS6 M6- 2002 Black Tahoe
Well, I just bought my 2000 WS6 with 75k miles for 13.5k; it was listed as 15.5k and I talked him down. So the prices for both seem good (as does the 99 from craig's). I would recommend running a car fax or autocheck on the cars to get a vague history and idea about the car.
Your choice also depends on how much you drive. If you don't drive very much, I would be tempted to buy the lower mileage one. However, if you put a lot of miles on your car anyway, I would get the 02 since these cars with the 6spd can last up to 200k if taken care of.
Also, if you get the 6spd, be sure to buy the skip shift eliminator. My 2000 WS6 didn't have one and I wonder why the previous owners drove this car for 7 years without getting one! The skip shift annoyed the cr@p outta me the first week I had it. It only took me about 5 minutes to put on. It's one of the quickest mods I've ever done. It's even easier than changing the oil!!
