    Oil temp Changing?

    Anyone experience there oil temp going from 60 to 80 roughly when accelerating?

    What oil temp guage?

    Our cars do not have oil temp guages, that is an oil pressure guage, and it is normal to increase pressure as RPMs go up from idle speed.

    Yea that is your oil pressure gauge...only a water temp gauge....and its normal for oil pressure to go up when you get on the gas.

    I gotcha I was under the impression it was an oil temp gauge.
