so i was racing my friend today and flew over a some-what blind hill to find out there was a ...bump on the other side. i flew over it and bottomed out a bit, but everything was fine (thank GOD). but when i got home i found something under my feet... it was a small twisted metal piece in the shape of a spring.. one of my friends thought it could be from the seat... driving home was fine and the seat worked fine except it was a bit rough tilting it back and forth. does anyone know what happened? i'm scared for my car!

i doubt its anything important to be honest with u. how big is the spring? are u a manual?? i think the clutch might have alittle spring somewhere but honestly i dont have an M6 so im not that in tune when it comes to the clutch haha

yah the clutch is fine.. but my gas pedal seems to be a bit loose... however ive only had my car less than a month, so it could have been like that before cuz it feels normal driving.

There is a little spring that goes behind your gas pedal.

yeah im thinking thats it. and it seems to be progressively getting looser.... is this an expensive fix?

No its not expensive. You just need to put the spring back in and I think a clip.
