Newbie from San Jose
Does anyone know where I can get a sequential tail light kit for my 98 TA? I see a few things online, an STS-1 kit for example. Just wondering if anyone has used anything recently with success.

Welcome, from the midwest.
THere was a kit out there, but I think they went out of business. It cost about $125 I think, and looked great. I was going to do it, but got sidetracked. Can't remember where, tho.

Thanks to all
Thanks for the quick replies.
I actually ordered the STS light sequencer. I will install it as soon as I can. It may be a month from now, I have to go to Malaysia, China and Taiwan for business....... would rather install that kit.
Anyway the only "pain" I can see is changing the outermost light sockets to dual filament types. Would be nice to get a lamp socket that actually fits the hole. Guess I will research that this holiday weekend.
Hello East Bay. Used to work up in Pleasanton off of Hacienda and Stoneridge. Now that I mentioned that........ segway.......... that drive did a bit of damage to the front of my car in terms of chipped paint. At that point I had put a LeBra on and due to massive summer heat it would soften enough to move around a little. So now I have chips and marks from the front end mask rubbing back and forth.
Is it worth the effort to try any scratch repair? See lots of things on the net and lost of good and no good reviews.
Thanks again............

Sorry to hear about the bra doing damage, I've always heard that it will, so I've never done it on any of my cars. Some scratch out stuff will probably minimize the damage, tho.
Keep us posted on the turn signal sequencer, I'd like to see someone else do this. I've wondered why Pontiac did not make the outer 3, or at least the outer 2, bulbs come on for brakes/turn signals. I think it makes the car look a bit bulbous on the rear end since the inner 2 of the 3 lights back there flash for the signal/brake.
And the outer one is a much smaller socket, as you will find out, so there won't be any socket with a 3 wire 3157 bulb to fit there until you modify the bulb hole. Good luck, and take your time doing it. I think they give you a template to cut out the new socket for the outer bulb install.
