Hawk pads are probably by far the most popular UPGRADE pads that Fbody owners choose. I am recieving mine on tuesday but I am completely confident that they will be the perfect choice.

As far as rotors I went with WS6 store rotoworks rotors, Mainly because of the price but I've heard positive things about them also. I've heard bad things of the baer rotors and the price on them is steep. Hope this was some kind of help to you

Hawk pads squeak a bit after a few hard braking sessions. I suppose it's to be expected but it bugs me.

I'm on my second set of Hawk pads and Powerslot rotors. The first set made my car sound like a schoolbus, second set...I put lots of anti-squeel on the pad backing and not a chirp. For mid-range braking, I'm quite happy with the performance for the price.

I have the Hawks Pads and have never had an ounce of dust on my wheels. I went with some slotted rotors and although the breaking is great they make a lot of noise as you drive down the road. Really regretting the slotted rotors, thinking about going back to a standard rotor..

    Thoughts?

I have to say I had the Hawk pads and they were ok, I liked the EBC Red Stuff pads I replaced them with they were a little quieter and seemed to stop better. Though with drilled and slotted rotors I went through pads fast since I drive my car hard and I decided to try some Wagner Thermo Quite pads and so far they make the least noise have lasted the longest, stop well, and have a lifetime warranty so I would recommend them since slotted style rotors chew up pads.
I have rotors from eBay and 3yrs with no issues and they only set ne back $150 for all 4. But I don't bother with Summit or Negative I built my car with parts from the WS6 store since they match any prices and ship parts fast.

I've never noticed any noise from the Powerslot rotors with Hawk pads. I actually wore out the rotors with one set of pads.
