Agreed. 25500 sounds at least 3k high, but then again, it only has 3,000 miles on it. However, my idea of having a car is to drive it, not keep it in the garage. If I bought a car like that, it would get at least 5,000 miles a year and the value would drop sharply. If you bought it and very rarely drove it, the value would still come down some but then 5-10 years from now if it had less than 10,000 miles on it, you could might be able to get $30k for it. Just depends on what you want to do with the car.

Yeah, an 02 firehawk with 3,000 miles will become a bigger collector item every year, as long as those miles stay low

From my experience with cars, when a car just sits and is not driven it rots.

It would if no one took care of it but if someone was keeping it stored in a nice garage and kept it clean then it should have no problems. Plus it is true if a car just sits for manny years with out moveing or anything then it would most likely need some repairs but since the car is a 2002 it should be in really good shape that really isn't a lot of time for it to rot in a nice garage.

I am right there in the same boat as you lol I like my car driven not shown off in a garage, and a ZO6 would be one fun ride everytime I see one I always wave and smile. But hell you should just save and get a ZR1 now that would be.... well words just can't decribe lol. GOOD LUCK with your hunt!
