    NERVOUS (computer geting tuned)

I am geting my computer tuned for my ws6 by frost and im extremely nervous about it, hes taking of the rear o2 sensors, but my car doesnt have the cats off yet? Would it be ok to drive it 30 miles to get the cats off with the computer saying there off?

you will be fine.....those rear O2's only monitor the cats. They serve no function as to how the car runs....the front O2's do that. Just deleting the rear O2's won't make any difference, you could drive it forever like that.

    Orion is correct....

Also, I assume you do not have a visual emissions inspection for where you live if you plan on removing the cats completely? If you do have a visual, you could always gut the cats and being that Frost is tuning out your rear O2's, you would still pass emissions.

I have a question. If you delete your cats and unplugged all the censors say put the rears to the front would that make a difference.
Hard to explain but I think I may have mixed one of my rear 02's with the rear because they look the same. Are they different?

And you're dealing with a top-shelf shop, Frost has always been professional + helpful + curteous with me and others I know, never heard a bad thing about them.

I am actually considering sending my PCM to Frost as well. I am VERY hesitant. Where I live i have STRICT emissions (Good O'l CA) Has anyone actually had their PCM tuned by Frost? What was the outcome?

Ask him, everything in the top quote is true. I wish every shop had more ppl like him.

He's done mine and have had zero issues.

You can't tune out the front O2 sensors - they are neaded to give the car the correct A/F mixture readings. As stated the rear O2 sensors only read if the cats are functioning properly - and as such they can be deleted.
