Need Trans Help!
I got a 98' T/A WS6, with the manual 6 Speed! Need some help, when i put the car in reverse it pops out and grinds when i start to move! It makes a hell of a thud! I have to hold the stick in reverse with an exceptional amount of force just to back up! If i let the clutch in and out i can get it to catch and stay, but thats not always a guarantee! Can someone please tell me what u make of this situation? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanx, BirdMan

Is it hard to even just get it into reverse? If it is check the ENG SEN fuse, it controls the reverse lockout solenoid. Might not be your issue but something easy to check.

It seems to slide into gear but it doesnt actually catch the gear, so i guess you could say it goes into gear hard! Ill look into the fuse situation, thanx for the advise man, appreciate it!
